Realignment. The Big East, once a 16 superconference has lost Syracuse and Pittsburgh. Say it ain't so! UCONN is vigoursouly vying for the ACC, West Virginia wanted to go to either the ACC or the Sec, and at one point, so did Villanova. Here lately, Rutgers has been thrown in the mix as well. So who does that leave? Louisville, Georgetown, Marquette, Notre Dame, Cincinatti, St. John's, Seton Hall, Depaul, USF, and TCU. Correcton, West Virginia isn't going anywhere, so they are included in the mix. And now Villanova is seeking admission into becoming a Big East football team. What do you do if you are Marinatto? Do you extend membership to the four schools that were hoping to leave the Big 12? (Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State) And if you are Louisville, do you stay put or do you seek membership elsewhere?
