Let's see, boy, oh, boy, Barnhart what have you done? Some will say you have hired a crook. Others will say he was just looking for his next hustle. And boy, did he hit paydirt! Highest paid coach in college basketball. Heard that the job he took in the NBA before they devied out the sanctions at UMASS wasn't t oo shabby either. This may be new, lol to u of K fans, but for Cal this seems like business as usual.
It is interesting that everybody e.g. U of k fans wanna say, oh Cal is clear and will face no infractions. U of K has no further comment. The facts speak for themselves, no need to comment. But what about those schools? The players? Case number one: U MASS. Marcus Camby, took or received $28,000 from an agent, in 95-96 season. The result, that final four win was vacated from the books and Cal hightailed it BEFORE the sanctions came. Question, how hard do you really think it was for him to decide whether he would stay at Memphis or go to Kentucky? The letter came January 16, 2009, BEFORE HE LEFT FOR KENTUCKY. Memphis will be left to pick up the tab. Now tell me, please U of K fans, how is that fair? And answer this, how does CAL escape everytime, with out a scratch or a bruise? How did UMass get hit with sanctions, no benefits, vacated wins, and you r beloved Coach Cal was sitting pretty with a cushy NBA job? SO HOW MUCH DOES HE REALLY LOVE THE KIDS?

Now exactly what was Barnhart thinking. He could have very well checked the track record of Mr. Calipari. But then again, if wins, are your only concern, this was a match made in heaven. And please say it isn't all about the wins, please do. Then, sure, it is no question that Calipari turns things around, but statistics show he is also turning them upside down.
He keeps leaving presents aka the element of surprise. Hope he doesn't leave u with one. Good Luck
