Realignment. The Big East, once a 16 superconference has lost Syracuse and Pittsburgh. Say it ain't so! UCONN is vigoursouly vying for the ACC, West Virginia wanted to go to either the ACC or the Sec, and at one point, so did Villanova. Here lately, Rutgers has been thrown in the mix as well. So who does that leave? Louisville, Georgetown, Marquette, Notre Dame, Cincinatti, St. John's, Seton Hall, Depaul, USF, and TCU. Preston Knowles will not be in the game on Saturday against Depaul, and may also miss the game against Notre Dame. Knowles pulled his hamstring in practice on tuesday. Doesn't look good for Dieng, at the moment either. He has to take an impact test and right now, he doesnt have the ability to do so. It is not clear when he will be back. It amazes me and ALL I can say is, Ain't It Funny?! I mean, you would think that after getting Coach Cal, and all those recruits that SOME, not all, cause it wouldn't be far to sterotype, UK fans would find something else to discuss besides Pitino.
