ESPN has a story posted concerning the "Wooden Watch for Player Of The Year) and guess who is being added as a major candidate???? "RUSS SMITH"
( Russ Smith, Louisville - College basketball fans across the country are falling in love with Smith, who scored 23 points in Wednesday's win over Providence, his third straight game with 20 or more points. Smith was 8-of-14 from the field and made all but one of his five 3-point attempts.)

Whoa!
This is great news for the CARDS and for Russ Smith who is IMHO one the hardest working and most improved player I have seen at UofL in recent memory (However with Dieng in the mix I can't take anything away from him either).
I hope Russ receives this honor, no one is more deserving.

Mr. Russ always makes something happen good or bad, mostly good. Not bad for a 2-3 star guard. A great example of what hardwork can do for you.
