Tony Woods, who was recently granted a release from Wake Forest, is expected to make a visit to the University of Louisville campus this weekend.

The 6-foot-10 Woods is also hearing from Kentucky and a story on Foxsports.com quoted his former AAU coach - Norman Parker - saying Auburn, Georgetown, West Virginia, Xavier, Cincinnati and others have also called inquiring about his services.

This is the same Tony Woods that "was kicked off the Wake Forest basketball team this week after pleading guilty to assaulting his girlfriend, who suffered a spinal fracture." "Just a little more than a month ago, Woods was arrested for kicking and pushing the mother of his 8-month-old son. And with the ink barely dry on his court documents, Rick Pitino is bringing him in for a visit?"

Yes Calipari and Pitino are once again showing why they are the biggest slimeballs in college coaching!!

Can't wait to see both these losers where the belong, in the unemployment line!

GO CARDS! FIRE PITINO!

Why??? Because UL, as a program, is bigger and better than any particular individual. I've long-since contended that Pitino's presence adds dead weight to your team's progress, because, he knows that he can get away with stuff. Place a young hungry coach behind the the helm, who will be fighting for his next meal, and Louisville basketball would flourish, overnight. That's an objective diagnosis. Any and all of my fandom is momentarily channeled away on that assessment.

The man might still be a decent coach, but his undesirable behavior, lack of accountability, and ever-conflicting dialogue, flush a lot of the positives. Your figurative demands have been granted in the form of a new arena. Therefore, the hostage has out-lived his worth. Can the old geezer, start fresh with an up-and-comer, and then sit back to watch the good karma flow.

Just my opinion. Good day.

Coaches are not allowed to comment... meaning they can't deny. Woods' camp threw out UK's name knowing UK couldn't deny it.

I'll humor you... let's say UK made a phone call. Did UK have him on a visit? No.
