As the son of a  career veteranof Puerto Rican heritage, who enlisted in a segregated US Army (until Truman corrected that mess), I understand differential and injust treatment.

I am sorry your Aunt was treated unjustly. I don't condone injustice. However, I fail to see how unjust treatment of Coach Pitino and turning a blind eye to Cal's cheating and making a mockery of NCAA rules and codes of conduct vindicates your Aunt and makes it all go away.

One more thing,

I am married, you are married, alot of us men on here are married. But you have to hit us with something other than Rick hitting that skank. But I understand that is all you have. He certainly hasn't had any final fours vacated and left any schools like a thief in the night.

But I want to know one thing. Was your Bachelor's Party held at Chucke Cheese?

GY,

Not obsessed...

The man is in a position of influence over young men just as I was while raising my sons.

He is the face of the University and its Basketball Program.

Years ago (1980) my Aunt was fired from UofL for merely filing a Title 9 grievance against UofL for obvious non compliance. Her actions in large part are EXACTLY why you enjoy such wonderful womens sports programs. Her name has been stricken from almost every historical document relative to her position as Womens AD and Basketball Coach.

But Pitino get a free pass.......and it just doesn't seem right to me.

So while you cast your aspersions on Cal....who by all accounts is a good family man, I have every right to offer my opinion on Pitino, and those who covet his actions.

Sorry to offend.

GY,

Who doesn't know about this?

I accept and fully agree UK had some dark days in their past....it is the UofL fans who have trouble coming to terms with their own program's woes wherein NCAA infractions and the whole cheating thing is concerned.

Being as I have been married for 20 years and have raised 3 kids, it is especially troubling the pass you guys give Pitino for his indiscretion as it wasn't an NCAA violation.

It's all about the perception of you guys who think Cal is a shit head cheater, and Pitino is ok just because he didn't break any NCAA rules. I can't even go on any more about Cal never being charged with the first infraction because you all have a demented perception of reality.

Taking the argument one step further, you all say Cal is a crap head for cheating, but act as though UofL and Denny Crum aren't....even though they were charged, tried, and convicted.

I only brought my Aunt's deal up as you guys don't seem to understand some of UofL's seedy past dealings which have guys who win ball games as their hero's....while staff members who do the right thing are busted.

I will let you guys have the last word as this has been beat to death...but I now know:

UofL's cheating wasn't such a big deal because other schools cheated more, or worse. Heck....the NCAA should probably just clear UofL's record since the fans know everybody else but they (UofL) are cheaters.

SUGAR BOWL!

Is this the Sugar Bowl thread? Bunch of history professors yammerin' about shit everyone knows about, and most don't give a flyin' eff about. True waste of cyber space. Just arguing for the sake of argument.

Florida will be one tough nut to crack. They have five star athletes all over the field. Hard to see how UofL can hang with this gaggle of Gators. (What is a group of Gators called? The same as crows I hope - I'd be all for that!!) UF is big, physical, and fast. Part of me just wants the Cards to keep the numbers on the scoreboard within the Vegas line and part of me knows anything can happen on any given night. Perhaps Florida will come out cocky and overconfident and the Cards will play flawless football. Louisiana-Lafayette gave that part of me hope.

GO CARDS!!!!

Thats true Wads. Florida played 2 lackluster games against inferior competition. We can do it

I showed respect and compassion for your Aunt and in turn you called me and all of the other Uof L posters demented. I have been fired from a position for doing the right thing myself. But nobody ever told me that life is fair. Holding on to anger is like catching a hot rock and not letting go of it, you are the one who gets burned. I haven't hit you with a personal attack, and would appreciate it if you would do the same.

I did infact say that UofL's infractions were under Crum's tenure and not under Coach Pitino's. I did state that UofL had 3 sanctions. Perhaps you are right in letting it go because you aren't staying focused.

BUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA-MAO!!!

Louisville has NEVER beaten an Out-Of-Conference top 10 team...NEVER!!!

And it's certainly not about to happen with an authentic top 10 like UF!

...but it IS funny to hear you losers finally refer to your program as the inferior bums they are! (snicker)

...btw, I'm headed with the fam to Disney World next weekend, only about a 3 hour drive. Going to get Park Hopper tickets and visit every parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM Studio's, and Animal Kingdom) along with Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios. Will be residing at my time share at Wyndham Bonnet Creek on Disney grounds!...good to be me. : )

So you losers who think that I'm not from Miami, feast on that! : )

BTW, I was in Gainesville this past May for my niece's graduation from UF at the O'connell Center. So to hear you ignorant Hillbillies (who I'm sure have never even drove past the town) say what that town is or isn't, is nothing more than yet another amazing display of the depths of hillbilly ignorance! (snicker) smh

How nice for you that your parents still want to treat you to a vacation. I guess the irritation of having to deal with your retarded ass, is tempered by the fact that when they're with you, they get to go to the front of every ride line...

Don't forget to pack your drool cup!

That is soooooo funny! Trying to convince everyone he lives in Florida. Nice try Grover. Kehehehehe. Keep em coming. I bet next he tells us he had a fight with a gator next. Or rode a rocket from cape canaveral. Driving in the Daytona 500 in February?

I know that Florida is a dream place for you poor little hillbillies of Kentucky, but it's just life as we know it down here in the sunshine state!...you know, believe it or not, there are about 19 million others who reside in the state of your dreams along with me! (snicker)

I know it's hard for someone who was unfortunate enough to be born in some cold god awful mid-western hick town next to a murky arse river to believe that someone from a fantasy land like Florida where there's world renowned beaches, international night life, Disney, etc would waist there time with you poor hillbillies of Louisville, but it's true.

...but hey! don't feel bad, you guys have something we'll likely NEVER experience...NOODLING IN THE CREEK! LOL!

...and you still have never beaten an out-of-conference top 10!...never...EVER...NOWHERE IN YOUR PATHETIC HISTORY, small fry! (snicker)

Florida is too redneck for me,

You never know when you might happen on a Quran burning or a block watch captain gunning down an unarmed black teen in a hoodie carrying skittles in the street.

Louisville couldn't beat Louisiana Lafayette!...hell, they barely beat 3-9 FIU from the same conference!

Also, florida may have played 2 lackluster games, but Louisville has a season full of lackluster games:

(39-34) unranked North Carolina

(28-21) @ 3-9 FIU

(21-17) @ 0-12 Southern Miss (the same team WKU beat 42-17)

(45-35) @ 6-6 Pittsburgh

(27-25) 3-9 South Fla.

Not to mention losses to:

7-5 Syracuse and

5-7 Uconn

That's 18 points away from a 6-6 record (against some of the weakest comp you'll find in D1),

and 28 points (Pittsburgh) away from not even being bowl eligible.

So you can engage in all the mental masturbation you like, Louisville is about to be sh#ted on by the Gators! : )
