I think Strong will leave by his comment that this is not the right time to talk about his leaving when asked by a Fox 41 reporter. I will be most disappointed to see him go if this is the case. I saw that an UA defensive coach is being interviewd for the Auburn job which gave me hope that Strong isn't taking the Auburn job. I guess it will be a wait and see time for Cards fans.

I never though about the UT job until I heard it last night....and it hit me.

Perfect situation for CS.

Auburn would have been a nightmare...UT on the other hand looks like a perfect fit. If he does leave, UofL will probably just reload with some new young stud, or maybe even go with a more seasoned veteran who is looking for a place to hang his hat for some time. The coaching carousel isn't much fun. Too many chances at getting a Joker or a Kragthorpe...the damage done is immeasurable.

I disagree with you guys about Coach Strong. UT was interviwing Mike Gundy just yesterday. If they were hiring Charlie, why would they be interviewing other people?

Word is that Gundy is very happy where he is.....just working the contract, you know how these guys do.
