Pitino To Stick With Saturdays Line Up
I realize I will never coach basketball in the NCAA. I have always defended Pitino and I am not throwing him under the bus by no means here. But pulling Smith from the starting line up yesterday threw him off his game by Pitino's own admission. Smith still came in to score 12 pts.
Hancock started in Smith's place, and in his defense scored 12 pts. as well.
Yet, two weeks ago, Smith was averaging 19. some odd pts a game and was in the convo for POY. Smith had an off game, I won't call it a bad game or 2. Siva has had 2 what I call bad games. Hancock has yet to have what I call a complete game. He doesn't rebound and defend.
Now he is a starter ffs.
Sam is right. Denny was a humble man and I liked that about him. Pitino is a great coach but he isn't not the greatest coach the NCAA have ever seen. I am not wanting to throw him under the bus, but he needs to eat some humble pie.
Now Rick sez tomorrows game with Pitt is a must win. Who's fault is that. Yours I am going to the HOF one day freakin Coach.
I am going to be at the YUM tomorrow, but I am disappointed to know that Smith isn't going to start. I don't have great seats, mine are in the upper level. But yooze guys (and Ladies) in the better seats, my hear my ignorant azz calling Rick a Stoopid Mook who betta get Russ in da Game.
