Paul Orberson is a You O'Kay big booster.
LEXINGTON, Ky. — "Tens of thousands of people in the United States and abroad may have lost millions in what federal and state officials are calling a classic pyramid scheme being run by a Kentucky-based company.
Kentucky Attorney General Jack Conway said Monday the state and the U.S. Federal Trade Commission are investigating Fortune Hi-Tech Marketing of Lexington. The company charged fees to consumers in exchange for allowing them to sell consumer goods such as satellite television service.
Conway says members only received substantial payments when they signed up new members.
The states of North Dakota, Montana and Texas have previously taken legal action against Fortune and reached settlements. The attorneys general of North Carolina and Illinois contacted Conway and the FTC regarding complaints from consumers in their states."

Paul Orberson has been very generous to the UK athletics department over the years but that will be coming to an end now that he’s been busted for running a pyramid scheme. Orberson’s Danville-based Fortune Hi-Tech Marketing company has been operating a “massive pyramid scheme” involving more than 100,000 people, announced today by Kentucky Attorney General Jack Conway. Conway said criminal penalties could be involved, since violating Kentucky’s pyramid scheme law is a Class C felony.
Orberson donated $1.6 million to UK in 2002 for the Paul Orberson Football Complex offices in the Nutter Training Facility. He’s also the man behind the $100,000 winning bid at the Hoops For Haiti telethon to have a private dinner with the Caliparis and Ashley Judd in the Calipari home.

My mother always told me, "The mysteries of the night shall be revealed in the light of day." I suppose this comes from the Bible as she was always quoting scripture.
So RedRager what I mean to say in response to your thought is, if the CARDS have a piper to pay in all of this, so be it.
I have always played by the rules even when I had an out. I expect the same from those I support. And I am not talking their personal lives but in their professional dealings of course.

Good to learn the piece regarding A. Judd. I was not excited to see that she was being considered as a candidate because I don't endorse Hollywood candidates and I think celebs make terrible activists.
