Mike DeCourcy is handing out midseason awards, and the Cats got one that’s not so flattering: Most Disappointing Team.
1. Kentucky. Is it fair to judge a team with so many freshmen so harshly? Honestly, we’re not trying to be harsh. Perhaps it’s just that if you look at our preseason top 25, almost everyone included is doing roughly as well as expected. Except UK. And perhaps it’s the bar that was set for this group of Wildcats by their predecessors. But it’s also giving up 40 points to a mid-teens scorer and losing at home to a middling Baylor squad. Kentucky can do better.
REALITY CHECK for Blew Fools....

Following Charlie Strong’s first win against Kentucky in the 2011 season, he famously told his players, “Now that we’ve beat them, we’ll never lose to Kentucky again.”
Matt shared that quote with Mark Stoops this morning and tried to get a rebuttal from him on the show. Of course, Stoops knows what to say and what not to say, so he kept it simple but still acknowledged the importance of winning the Governor’s Cup.
He said, “We go out to win every game and Louisville will be high on our list.”
He may want to worry about beating WKU first.....

"Yeah," the UK coach said. "I hope so, and I hope it's us."
Calipari noted "the importance of talent, veteran presence, a mentally-tough approach and luck."
VETERAN PRESENCE with all one and dones??? Does Cal even believe the BS that spews from his cheating lips???

I have listened to this mook from time to time. When he first came to UK he said "The best way to win, is to win." And it has gone down hill from there. Ha ha ha. If he were our head coach, I would have to mute the TV whenever he spoke.
