If you thought all the expansion busines was over (in Lee Corso voice) "Not So Fast My Friend".It seems that the Big Ten may being trying to go to 14 teams by 2013-2014, news is that Maryland and Rutgers may be likely targets. It is said that if Rutgers does in deed go to the Big Ten then Uconn may try to bolt to the ACC to fill the vacant spot left open.It seems that the same thing is behind this new round of expansion as the one before, money from the TV deal and the TV markets. We all saw Maryland get beat down by FSU today and Rutgers is good now but what happens to them if their coach bolts on them for "greener" pastures? If you look at the last round of teams that bolted to different conferences all except for AtM are actually doing something in their new homes.I don't see Rutgers or maryland beating Michigan,Ohio St, or any of the other teams in the Big Ten.Hell Nebraska has won national Championships and even they get looked over when it comes to talking about the Big Ten, all ESPN knows is Ohio St. and Michigan plain and simple. They say the announcement may come as soon as Monday so we will just have to wait and see how this next round shakes itself out.And we will have to see if the ACC does lose Maryland if somehow UL get's pulled into the mix, stay tuned.

Yep, that's what I heard - Rutgers to the ACC. If Florida State gets an invite elsewhere the ACC certainly won't have a nail to hang their helmets on.

As for conference newcomers being successful in their new homes - WVU has lost 5 in a row in the Big12 and Missouri (the team with the guy who said the SEC was going to learn what "big boy" football was all about) has only 1 conference win....over the doormat of the SEC.

I certainly hope Louisville gets an invite to any conference besides the Tiny Least, because they'll soon find out what West Virginia is finding out!

Which is, for Big Least garbage, getting your arse kicked on a regular basis is the norm!

Hurry up Loserville, there's lots of room at the bottom. (snicker)

Poor Chumpsy is just one poor bitter bitch...

...at least he has plenty of experience with bottoms. Right Little Brother?
