I see where the new BCS playoff system will include the Big East!

This is great news for U of L. They take the top teams from each of the "BIG 5" conferences and then the top ranked team from Big East, MAC, Moutain West, and CUSA. We should be able to have a higher ranked team than those other 3. My question is...."How does the ACC get in the TOp 5 conference status?

because all the schools play football and basketball and not all the schools in the lower tier conferences play both revenue generating sports
