Coach Strong Lands Another Big One

Louisville coach Charlie Strong just landed a late recruit, and it’s a big one. Four-star linebacker Stacy Thomas signed with Louisville Sunday.

The 6-foot-2, 235-pound prospect visited Louisville over the weekend and left with a signed Letter of Intent.

The Gulliver Prep star is the No. 24 linebacker in the nation and the No. 60 overall prospect in the state of Florida.

Thomas joins a Louisville class that includes 15 high school prospects, a junior college transfer and a transfer from Florida.

He chose Louisville over offers from Florida, Florida State, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, West Virginia, LSU and many others.

You do know about underachieving I will give you that,

1 title out of four years of having the #1 class of recruits in the nation. And now the possibility of NOT making it into the NCAA tournament this season. That truly exemplifies underachievement.

Kentucky didn't beat Florida in 2007 either, but that didn't stop them from dropping the nuclear bomb on that dumbarse dream you had of winning a National Championship that year, now did it?

As a matter of fact, as I recall, the nuclear bomb the Wildcats dropped on you left you so decimated that even Syracuse came to town and kicked dirt on you in your own high school pizza dump. Yes, it spelled the beginning of the end.

yeah so not beating Florida does not equal underachieving at all, and after what I just illustrated, wouldn't you agree?

On the other hand, going "27 years and counting" without winning a national title even in the sport you're more known for just screams UNDERACHIEVER!!!

Well, THAT and having to settle for a consolation prize for more than a quarter century and then bragging about it, as if coming in 6th, 9th, or 15th is the summit of college achievement.

Yep, that's glorifying underachievement there, and that's the very essence of the word. : )

Yewkay ever been to a BCS game? Please! Syracuse is in a BCS conference. Western Kentucky isnt. When your team is in the mighty SEC and you arent even the second best team in your own state... Thats underachieving. Heck Murray, and Eastern are better also. So yewkay is the 5th best team in Kentucky

You are the one that told us how bad Florida was going to beat us in the Sugar Bowl ( which is a BCS game, i wanted to point t that out since yewkay fans dont know anything about a BCS). Now that we have accomplished that little feat you come on and talk about no national title. Well after Little Ricky guides the team to the championship this year. What will you say then? " You guys are still in the Big East"? Not for long. We took care of Florida for you. Dont worry.. No thanks needed

Was FIU in a BCS conference when one man (TY Hilton) beat you in your own expanded high school stadium in 2011?...or how about Marshall when they followed FIU that year? : )

...neither was Utah when they followed Syracuse into the little pizza joint and threw some more dirt on the coffin of your laughable national title dream of 07, now were they?

smh...A Louisville fans talking about who can't beat a Non-BCS opponent after struggling this past season with the likes of: 3-9 / FIU (28-21) and 0-12 / Southern Miss (21-17)!!! 11 points separated you from losses to 2 of college football's all-time perennial college football losers. smh

And neither of those school were anywhere close to as good as WKU. In fact, WKU beat the brakes off that Southern Miss team you sweated it out with (42-17).

So it looks as though that perpetrating bunch of college football bcs welfare recipients you call your team are just lucky they didn't have to face them. smh

It doesn't matter who U f L plays....yewkay still considers U of L it's biggest game....you dummies rushed the field after winning in 2007. you ever see U of L rush the field after beating yewkay? Yewkay just isn't that big a deal to us. As a matter of fact...this is how pitiful yewkay fans are and how they wish they were somebody in football....the fans rushed the field after beating a 5-7 Alabama team. They even rushed the field and were trying to take down the goal posts as LSU was scoring the winning TD! The stupid players were pouring Gatorade on Guy Morriss as the LSU player crossed the goal line! lmao No wonder Morriss left! This program is the laughing stock of the SEC. No buddy...you have miles to go to catch U of L. Keep trying.
