Coach Strong has started his usual late season recruiting push.

Over the weekend he had 5 visitors in. 2 of them committed.
WR from Florida who chose U of L over Ohio State and West Virginia among other. He also got a commit from a JUCO QB who may come in and play right away if Teddy leaves after his junior year. Expect James Quick to commit on national TV during the Army All American bowl. Go Coach Strong!

Louisville recruiting under Kragthorpe:

2007) 47th

2008) 54th

2009) 64th

for an average recruiting class of: 53rd

Louisville recruiting under Strong:

2010) 44th

2011) 33rd (only as a result of Randy Shannon being fired from UM)

2012) 42nd

2013) 69th

for an average recruiting class of: 47th

WOW! Charlie is really blowing the doors off of Kragthorpe, huh? (snicker)

BTW, your in-state nemesis, UK, under Joker Phillips has out-recruited UL under Charlie Strong with the 43rd best recruiting class from 2010-2013.

And just think, some idiotic UL fan (Cardsdrool) said UL would out-recruit UM yearly with Strong as UL's head coach. smh...dumb

You were TRYING to refer to Rivals 2011 where Louisville finished with the 29th ranked recruiting class after Charlie Strong was able to benefit from Miami's firing of Randy Shannon and his hiring of Clint hurtt.

You're exactly right Cards. A quick look at Scout shows the following since 2002:

Miami - average recruiting rank - 12. Total won / loss record - 89-49.

UofL - average recruiting rank - 47. Total won / loss record - 87-50.

Clearly Louisville overachieved, Miami grossly underachieved and, high school rankings don't mean a bunch. Oh yeah almost forgot, the last time they played, Louisville teabagged the little u...
