How many times have UL played in a National Title game?...
How many times have UL won the Big (L)east in their 8 years as a member?...
Exactly!!!
Also, 2002 thru 2012 has been the worst years of UM football since the 70's, while 2002 thru 2012 has been the absolute best Lousyville football has ever produced! Now THAT says a lot about how pathetic Lousyville football is?...LOL!
...and just think, for UM that 'worst time' includes (something Lousyville will likely NEVER experience) a National Championship game appearance, and just as many BCS Bowls!
That says either The U is a dynasty of unbelievable success, or that Lousyville's best is not that good at all! pick your choice! (snicker)
Also, top ranked recruiting classes don't guarantee National Champions. But they will keep you from having 4 win seasons, being gutted by unranked garbage like Rutgers 63-14, or beaten savagely by the little women in orange 45-26! (snicker)

You're exactly right Cards. A quick look at Scout shows the following since 2002:
Miami - average recruiting rank - 12. Total won / loss record - 89-49.
UofL - average recruiting rank - 47. Total won / loss record - 87-50.
Clearly Louisville overachieved, Miami grossly underachieved and, high school rankings don't mean a bunch. Oh yeah almost forgot, the last time they played, Louisville teabagged the little u...

It's performance on the field,........31-7. I was THERE!!!!!

WOW! Seems like I'm making progress. Thanks, Nincompoop!
BTW, West Virginia also beat Oklahoma 48-28 in the Fiesta Bowl, but are over in the Big 12 getting their arse handed to them by EVERYONE in the conference!
...just like Lousyville is about to experience once ACC play begins! (snicker)

What's your name and address? You have nothing to fear from me, I don't visit the smelly side of Louisville...

Excuses are excuses. The bottom line is this.
For the last ten years, the little u has consisited of talented yet, heartless players - who, despite the "benefit" of massive amounts of cheating, have consistently underachieved and been routinely teabagged by 3/4 of the ACC, so much so, that the little u is completely irrelevant. Though it's fair to say that when your fanbase is comprised almost completely of heartless trash and scumbags, who don't even sell out when you're "good", it might be hard for those players to really represent...
During the ACC expansion, there were two things that you constantly heard about. FSU and Clemson wanting Louisville (and not uconn) to improve the football side of the ACC and, Duke & Virginia wanting uconn due to academics and basketball.
Who was not heard from (or asked anything) was the little u, because they are irrelevant and nobody in the ACC asked them their opinion because no one in the ACC gives a shit what they think.
And, I guess having all of that talent won't help you from being teabagged by Oklahoma 51-13, Virginia 48-0, Georgia Tech 41-23 (and losing to them 4 years in a row) OR, LOUISVILLE 31-7.
