Coach Charlie Strong hosting 13 visitors this weekend.

I believe U of L can only sign 15 recruits this year. He is either going to asked someone to gray shirt, let a recruit go, or someone may have been released from the team. Has anyone heard of the status of Charles Gaines? I know he was suspended for the last 7 games. I heard it was academics but that may not be true. I would sure hate to lose his speed at receiver or cornerback

Matt shared that quote with Mark Stoops this morning and tried to get a rebuttal from him on the show. Of course, Stoops knows what to say and what not to say, so he kept it simple but still acknowledged the importance of winning the Governor’s Cup.

He said, “We go out to win every game and Louisville will be high on our list.”

He may want to worry about WKU first....

I was told by a person with knowledge of the situation that it was found out after the fact, that he and the other two that were suspended had been drinking before a game. If it were academics, they would have simply said so.
