BTW, Coach Cal was the top recruiter, however, there are several sites for any category you search, including best coach, and not all have the same info. One site has UL, UK, WI and Duke going to the final four and I don't agree and I am sure that UL fans do not agree.
Permalink Reply by CardinalConnie on January 17, 2013 at 8:16am UL and Duke will be in the NCAA Tourny..so yeah. Too bad You O'Kay will be in the NIT final four.
Wisconsin? Eh, who cares?
Oh, and Rape Arener is a Cow Barn compared to The YUM! And since The YUM! is only three years old it is a stupid comparrison anyway.
But keep the dufus hilljacks pole dancing in the aisles for the rest of the countrys entertainment.

Permalink Reply by CardinalConnie on January 17, 2013 at 10:54am Mike DeCourcy is handing out midseason awards, and the Cats got one that’s not so flattering: Most Disappointing Team.
1. Kentucky. Is it fair to judge a team with so many freshmen so harshly? Honestly, we’re not trying to be harsh. Perhaps it’s just that if you look at our preseason top 25, almost everyone included is doing roughly as well as expected. Except UK. And perhaps it’s the bar that was set for this group of Wildcats by their predecessors. But it’s also giving up 40 points to a mid-teens scorer and losing at home to a middling Baylor squad. Kentucky can do better.
Too bad they sUcK so bad!!!

Permalink Reply by Bluecreeker on January 17, 2013 at 1:00pm 1 admittedly disappointing season (so far), as opposed to 25 years of futility......even though little brother has tried in vain to recreate the "lighting in a bottle" Pitino surely had while at UK.
That's ok.....Ever wonder why UofL hangs Final Four banners, while UK hangs National Championship banners?
Maybe it's because they (UofL and its fan base) just expect less....who knows?

Permalink Reply by RedRager on January 18, 2013 at 6:36am In all fairness, if I could be guaranteed an NCAA championship, knowing that I had to have an NIT season the next year, I'd take the deal every time it was offered.
That said, of course I maintain the right to make fun of UK if it's NIT bound!
